Well, I have recieved many emails aboutwhat all we us over here. So here are some things just off the top of my head: M4, M16A2/A3, M9, M14, M82A1, M203, HB Flex .50 cal, M240c/b machine guns, tabuk, dragonov, 25mm, and SR-25 w/silencer.  Some attachments we have are surefire lights, PEQ2 and PEQ4, aimpoint, leapold scopes, pistol lasers, and tac slings.

Any M11s up there?  We have a few down here in Kuwait - I managed to swap out my M9 for one a few months ago.

in my experience only chicks, and officers get M11's instead of a solution to a problem they have become status symbols and the zero's and the pilots haord them...dicks.

I think you mean PAQ-4, and not the PEQ-4 (unless your talking on a MK-19). the PEQ-4 is about the size of a 4 Cell D Maglight.

M11 is a Sig 226 (might be a Sig228).
They're issued to anyone that cant handle an M9 due to hand size.

The M11 is the P228 with night sights.  Originally it was to replace the Colt and S&W 2 & 3" revovlers used by CID, etc as the M9 was recognized as too big and heavy.  Aviation units in some of the services were added to increase the number for the contract, lower the unit cost, and help it get through Congress (similar to how they added aviaiton units to the original M4 buy that was too small to be economical when only the SF units were going to get them).

The "hand size" excuse was a reason given to Congress to help get it through on budgets.  It's like "C-130 transportable".  In real use, it's pretty much just a myth that the military tailor issues you things that actually fit.  While some units may have both, and could offer a choice, Army units at least only have one type of sidearm.  You get an M9, or you get an M11, no choice.  What the unit has is what you get.  

As for hording them, that's mostly BS.  You get what you get issued.  They have M11's because some aviation units have M11s.  Pilots have no more control over what they get than Joe Snuffy.  They might lord the fact that they have an M11 over anyone with an M9, but it was pretty much "luck of the draw".  Officers and pilots carry alot of M11s because officers and pilots carry pistols and those pistols are what that unit has issued to it.  If your unit has only M9s, you have as much chance getting an M11 as an M1911A1 no matter who you are.

In units that have both (which is VERY rare), there is probably some hording going on.

How come the Iraqi NG AK's are post-ban w/o bayonet mounts?

The ban isn't really expiring, it's just moving to a new home.
