Howdy...Ive been having a strange occurance for like the past week straight...

Every morning, at 9:11am I manage to look at the clock. Every night, at 9:11pm I manage to glance at the clock at just that moment. If Im asleep, I manage to wake up and happen to glance at the time.

What gives? Its starting to creep me out.

It's that spell Necromancer cast on the whole site.

Log off, take your computer outside and run over it, back and forth several times. You should be good to go after that.

Lets wait two hours and see if it happens again.

It's in your head...

Once you believe you've seen a particular number more than you should have, you begin to notice it every time, whereas you don't notice the others at all.  Thus, when you see the number again you say 'THERE IT IS AGAIN', but when you glanced at the clock (or whatever) and another number was present, your mind didn't even log it.  I used to think I had this thing with 440.  After evaluating it, the above was what was happening.  You don't even realize how often you see numbers in daily life.

9:11, you say?  What possible significance could that hold?  What could your subconscious mind be trying to tell you?

Pick another number and see if you notice it too. You might be looking at the clock more than you think you are.

Good to know - Everyday (almost) I've been noticing the time 9:11 as well.  But I wasn't going to start a thread about it.

edited to add: I USED to notice the clock whenever it was 3:33 am/pm until this 9:11 thing started happening.  I swear on the holy bible, my daughter was born at 3:33 PM last year.

I had somthing like that happen this morning too.

I was up late last night, so I set my alarm clock(which is my cell phone by the way) for 9am this morning so I could get up and go meet a friend.

The alarm on the cell phone went off at 9am just like it was supposed to, and I hit snooze.  It went off 10 minutes later just like its supposed to at 9:10am and I hit snooze again.

One minute later at 9:11am, it went off again.

My phone's snooze is set for 10 minutes after the snooze button is hit.  It has never gone off one minute later like that every before.  I don't even know if the snooze time can be adjusted.

I didn't necessarily think it was creepy or weird, or anything stupid like its a "sign".  I just thought the phone was fucked up or I didn't hit the snooze button properly.  Although I tried later to re-create the one minute snooze and was unable to do so.

Not somthing for the X-files, but I still wonder why that happened.

Chris

When I was 13 or  14 I had that same thing happen to me. I am now 23. And yes it was 9:11. I saw it as the 911 rescue line though. My grandpa was in slowly failing health and I could keep seeing myself having to call 911 very soon. I was basically full of shit. By the way, has anyone noticed they see 2:23, 5:56 or 3:08 on their clock often?

I have programed my digitial alarm clock to flash 5:56 when power is interupted.  It reminds me to reset the clock and buy ammo.
