I've had it for over 3 years.  Lots of good times (and girls) on that bike.  But I haven't been riding it lately, and since I want to buy a house soon it makes more sense to free up some cash to go towards that.

Is this what it feels like to grow up?  I guess at 29 it had to happen some day.  I don't think I like making responsible decisions over fun.   I know I don't like the fact that work is now interfering with my ability to have fun (i.e. taking up too much time for me to be able to ride).

Hopefully when I get into the new house I'll have a garage and can build my dream chopper (based on a Sportster), or maybe I'll change gears entirely and pick myself up a sport bike.

Post a link to it here. Perhaps one of our fellow AR15.comers would want it.

I think that violates the COC.  I think I might post a pic of it as a memorial though, haha.

Don't try to sell it here, just tell us about it, and what you would sell it for if you were going to sell it.

Put an ad in the EE, then link to it from a post here.  That is not a violation of the COC, and it's always good to help another ARFCOMmer.

Alrighty then
the ad

Yeah, I was, and I'd probably be interested in that bike, but I need to free up the cash right now.  What year?

I'm not much of a Harley guy, but that is a nice looking bike.

Thanks.  When I went to the dealership I was just kind of looking, but this was the exact model and color I wanted.  I took it as a sign that it was meant for me.

I've got a CBR 600RR.

Someday, I would love to buy a Ducati 999.

How's the riding position on that?  I had looked at them but it just looked ungodly uncomfortable.  Are the looks deceiving?

I actually like sport bikes with an aggressive riding position a lot more than more upright riding positions, at least the one's i've ridden. Upright position wears out my arms and shoulders fast.

After a long time in an aggressive position can bother my lower back a bit, but i never notice it until I get done riding :P I can ride with a sore lower back, but it gets hard riding after a while when your arms are falling off.
