Anyone have a source or know of where We'll be able to get the Standard, Non Castrated Capacity Mags after the ban?

Strangely enough, this is the only item that I will be looking for after the ban dies.

Well, seeing has 'standard' 10/22 mags have always been the rotary 10 round mags (buddy back in 88 got a 10/22 when we were young, it only came with the rotary  mag), the standard mags will still be the same.  ;)

I always considered those to be "Filler"Mags. They put those in the magazine well when shipping out the new rifles to keep dust bunnies and cob webs from gettin in there.  Then you had to go out and actually purchase some 30 or 50 round mags.........the standard type that everyone used before we were oppressed by this B.S. BAN.

Don't worry the streets will be flooded with them.

I don't believe this.  I think the damand for these mags will far exceed what is available.  Does anyone even still make them?

Butler creeek never stoped. The condor mags, which are very good also are being sold now for 19.99 for a 30rd mag.

It'll be nice to see the damned prices come down. $60 each is just plain rediculous.

They are still made for sale in Canada and elsewhere outside the US. You had better belive Butler Creek and Ram Line see the huge demand  and are ready to ship mags in September.

Hell, there have been tens of thousands of 10/22's made since the ban, all in all thats probably the highest circulation rifle capable of taking now banned magazines out there.

Nope, as far as I know, Ruger only makes 10 round mags for the 10/22.  All the rest are aftermarket.  I could be wrong.

A buddy of mine who's one of the more savvy (Meaning he charges a little bit over his costs and sells TON's of mag's at the shows) dealers told me that he'll have them (25 rndrs) for under $20. He's already got thousands of dollars in pre-orders with the manufacturers.

Okay, on a slightly larger .22 post ban note, does anyone know if Beta will start selling C-mags again?

Yup they will. I already got mine pre-ordered, can't wait. Go to Green Mountain Gear or CMMG they are both taking orders for them.

I imagine I'll probably spend more on magazines than new guns unless we get something cool like a civilian SIG 550.  High-capacity 10/22 magazines, a couple of Beta C-mags, 20 and 30 AR mags, etc.

Where to get Condor or any other steel lipped 10/22 mags now that the  BAN IS OVER?
My street isn't exactly flooded? Not hanging off any trees in my area either?

Seriously need help locating some NEW quality mags. All of my searches turn up $50 25 round preban OLD STOCK  mags.

I called Butler Creek up, they didn't know the ban had ended this AM and were under the impression that it ends tomorrow.

In any case I was told that it would take them a couple days to get the web site up and running for on-line sales, but to call back tomorrow to order new 25 round mags.

Not sure these are the mags you're looking for but give it a look.

Yes.  I believe you are looking at $230-$250 for those when available.  IIRC that is what LEOs are paying now.

This is the kind of news that just brings a tear to my eye...I think I need a hug now.

Damn it. I hate PLASTIC. I hate Thermolds, GLOCKS, and PLASTIC LIPS! I'll Hold out for Metal lips, as I believe the "NO BAN" Period may be short lived.
