I really like my Cav Arms C1 buttstock with the A2 buttplate.

A1 stock with possibly an ITC QD cheekrest.
There are many stocks that are too long, but few that are too short. Thus the A1. It also allows stowage of a cleaning kit, an essential bit of kit when you need it. The collapsoble stock, legalities aside, is fragile and rattles. Pass. Others, I dunno. |

A1 fixed works best for me and I suffer the A2 well ... but then I, like the most of the people here, don't have your body, your face, your stance, and your shooting skill level. Like asking what bowling ball you should throw we all can recommend what works best for us but you really need to get to the lanes and try a few lines with different weight balls to see what works best for you - next time you're out with your AR15.com buddies shooting up the hillside try a friends weapon to see if it works for you.
I run very conservative on my weapons, others are willing to try this and that looking for an advantage. I might be wrong from time-to-time but not by much. I wouldn't hazard a guess at how the people responding here compare to your shooting style and needs. |

A1, though I'm not sure who besides Cav Arms makes them. I know Quantico Arms has Cavarms stocks in -er-stock.

Ace does nothing.... but the vltor and crane stocks have a cheek weld that I could sleep on.

Hopefully with the money from the RNC OT, I was going to get a couple of Vltor stocks. One for my Preban Carbine and one for my postban rifle.
