My wife's hotmail.com email account went up to 250MB two weeks ago, but mine's still at 2MB.  Does anyone else still have theirs at 2MB, or has it gone to 250MB?

Gmail rocks.

Even if every email provider went to unlimited space, Gmail STILL displays back-and-forth emails as conversations, and allows you to search text.

I have a Gmail account, but I don't know how to invite people. Do you have to do something special?

The email I got from Hotmail (Microsoft) said that they'd upgrade the acounts in August.  Oh well.

I'd switch to Gmail (Google email), but I have had this hotmail account since hotmail started, so I really don't want to switch emails...

There should be a red thing, I believe it's next to the search bar, that says "Invite a friend to join Gmail".

Just look around for it....

You need an invite from someone that already has a Gmail account. Each person gets a certain number of invites.

Only 2mb.  But I hardly ever use it, as I prefer Yahoo.

Still at 2 Meg here, too. I've been waiting for Gmail to get up and running for the masses so that I can get in on the fun.

Don't know anybody with GMail to give me an invite, so I'm still using my 2MB Hotmail account. Hopefully it'll go to 250MB soon.

I don't know if I would want to use an Email service which keeps all my mail on record even after i delete it.

250Mb a couple weeks ago.  Simply awesome.  I kept bumping my limit at 2Mb.  It was 95% full when I went to bed, when I woke up and logged in, it was 1%.  Its SWEET.  Hold out guys, its worth it.  The 10Mb attachement limit is really nice too.

Hmm? Hotmail doesn't do the same thing that Gmail does.

If I send you an email, you reply, I reply, you reply, and then I reply....that shows up as 3 emails in your inbox.

With Gmail, it will say "Sniper_Wolfe, me (5)" - when you open that single email, it displays all emails in order (without those little arrows/replies in each email). It shows the last email expanded (or last two if the last email is a reply made by you). Each other message is displayed as the person's name, with about 10 words or so, and the date/time (which, I am happy to say, is displayed as something like "Aug 21 9 hours ago" or "Aug 22 1 1/2 days ago."

I'd take a screenshot....but I'm lazy.
