I didn't check on any news recently.
For hurricanes, I prefer to go straight to NOAA.
Where did the news say it was going to go?

Unfortunately the National Hurricane Center still has a lot of difficulty predicting storm paths and expected strengths over extended periods of time.  We'll just have to keep an eye on this one and hope for the best.

It's tracking like Floyd in 1999.  I'd bet on Wilmington, NC.
