Normal tax refund check is no big thing because I really know that it's my money and was expecting it. But to me this is totally unexpected and will seem like free money from the feds. So I've got to do something non-pc with it. I'm thinking I'm finally gonna get my assault-rifle/Kill-pistol/sniper-rifle/pocket-rocket-portable-clandestine-ammunition-manufacturing-plant going (lee kit).
And my ssn ends in 07 so I'll be one of the first! haHA.

What you say?

KP-95.

Checks shoud start mailing out soon. They are mailed out in order of your last 2 SS# digits.
I hope they start at 00 and not save it for last.

I haven't been able to keep up with the PRK's one-handgun-per-month requirement.

I must admit that I don't know exactly how much to expect....I haven't been keeping up on the story. Do any of you know how much you expect to get back in this windfall?

I suppose I would use it to get my property in better shape but.....in August I am planning a party....hmmmm.... depends on delivery of said windfall and amount.

I beleive that it's $300 for an individual return and $600 for a married couple.

Mine's going to VISA.

Speaking of checks . . . (eat your heart out) . . . the VA has finally decided that my 1989 claim for service connected disability is valid. I've been classed as 100% disabled and will be awarded disability compensation from the date of my claim (1989)--with interest.

I'm figuring it's going to be somewhere in the range of $200,000.oo (Two Hundred Thousand).

ALSO, my annual income just about tripled.

I'm buying a house in the boonies where I can shoot off the back porch.

I am going to stockpile ammunition.  Probably buy 2 or 3 cases of .223 55gr. FMJ.

Mine is going towards paying off a tax liability I owe money on.  I wont get a check, Ill just get a receipt saying how much I would have gotten if I didnt owe the IRS money.

Seems weird to me though, I set up payment plans with interest and everything, for a set number of months/years.  They still snag my tax returns and everything else before I get it, it seems to me if you make a payment plan that should be it and not take money elsewhere.  I know the IRS is evil and all that, but it still seems strange.  A bank doesnt do that to pay off your house or car loan.

I may find an anti-tax organization to donate it to.  It is not free money, it is just our overbloated socialist government raping me less.  The tax cut needed to be 3.1 trillion or more.

Unfotunately for me, the question is, "What are the feds gonna do with the check from me?".

Yup, first year I actually owed.

Need a GOOD spotting scope.

Not sure I'll be able to sneak THAT ONE past the wifey tho.

Unka Sam done blew it for me, and announced on national news that I'd be getting that money. The wife is SURE to hear about it.

From the article:
Critics of the refund idea have raised the specter that thousands of checks will go astray, sent by the IRS to the wrong addresses because people have moved.

"Thousands of checks will go astray"???  This is the worst thing they can say about a refund?  These people need to get a life.

Mine will go to paying off bills.  I just had to buy a new oven last night.

First, I'll laugh at this so called tax relief. Then, I'll laugh even harder at the Democrats who said it was too big. Then, I'll buy some more ammo with it.

I see single folks get $300, married folks get $600, and single parents get $500...

Right now I'm married with 4 kids...
Do I get extra for being married & having kids too ???

Or should my wife & I split up (each getting 2 kids) so we each get paid $500 ? [:)]

If single parents get extra, then married parents should get extra too...

This could mean the difference between me buying 1 new gun or...2

I would definately buy something the govt. didn't want me to have... (another evil black rifle & some more ammo)[:)]

I think I'll donate it to the most conservative hard core Republican senate candidate I can find in FL.  Then I'm going to spend every waking moment of my free time working for them so we can get rid of these worthless socialists currently in power.  Still sitting on the fence after the last election?  They almost got away with it.
