I'm not surprised either... but the Kerry people demanded proof Kerry wrote many of the after action reports... and the SBVFT argue Kerry exxagerated his exploits... here he is saying that such behavior was rampant. Pieces just falling into place. Anybody who thinks this stuff isn't hurting Kerry need only go to the latest ]www.latimes.com[/url poll.

You ever think that right about now the Dems are wishing that they never tried to use Kerry's war record to booste his appeal? Maybe he should have just run on the issues and his political record. Nope, that wouldn't have done him much good either.

I KNOW it SHOULD be hurting him........a lot of the bigger polls aren't showing it yet......

The problem with polls is they have to actually ask questions to get answers. That is a very good poll, larger sample size means smaller margin of error... used both registered AND likely voters. Rassman is showing the electoral gap greatly narrowed and a lot more states that were supposedly Kerry states in play again. All of this BEFORE our convention. I also have it from a pretty reliable source that there is another swiftboat ad in the can and ready to go... So make those donations at www.swiftvets.com.

Kerry responded, "I had direct experience with that. Senator, I had direct experience with that and I can recall often sending in the spot reports which we made after each mission; and including the GDA, gunfire damage assessments, in which we would say, maybe 15 sampans sunk or whatever it was. And I often read about my own missions in the Stars and Stripes and the very mission we had been on had been doubled in figures and tripled in figures.

Did he EVER sink 15 sampans?

Dunno on the sampans, BUT weren't all those reports doctored to make the public think we were inflicting heavy casualties on the enemy?
just like body counts were at the time?? 2 actual dead, 20 reported and the likes.

serious questions. I'm just curious about that.

Do you actually realized how many NVC were killed? They were getting literally slaughtered. If anything, the media was covering up exactly how well the war was going.
