I just can't resist the sub-$100.00 rifles with LOTS of mil-surp ammo anymore! I was gonna order an M38 Mosin but, after talking to a firend that has an M44 and hearing about the bone-jarring recoil out of them, I'm looking at Mausers. Anyone gotten one of these from SOG lately? Are they decent? As long as they have at least a decent bore, anything else is negotiable. SOG usually lists a hand-pick fee on their mil-surp rifles but there's no hand-pick option listed for the M48's, meaning they're either all good or they're running out and I'm leaning towards the latter. How about it, guys? Thanks for the help.
