JC, Did you have a hard time getting your mags to lock-up (the type in the picture)? I tried my SAR-2 the other day and had to take a knife to the magazine to get it to lock into place.

The rifle pictured did fine but another SAR 2 did have some real problems not getting mags all the way in. There's a thick pin that goes across the receiver at the rear of the mag well. File down the face of this pin where it's blocking the mags from entering all the way. Just a little should do it.
