Don't forget the Boss.
And yes, I know he is an asshat, just like almost every other celebrity in the world. |
Let's see....careless whisper, karma chameleon, like a virgin, bad, rio, I ran, whip it.....
Oh, 'scuse me, I must learn to read closer.... If you like G'n'R, might as well go ahead and get the entire Appetite for Destruction, Lies, Use Your Illusion I &II albums.....ok, maybe not all '80's, but my official '80's timeline ended immediately after Use Your Illusion I & II came out. Great White...don't forget The Angel Song. |
I've started threads here about him, and thought I was the ONLY person on the whole board who liked his music. Glad to see I was wrong. |
Ick, I'd rather listen to your please refrain from list. |
Don't take this the wrong way, but your wife and I would get along just fine..... I'd say, though, that since she's got A-Ha's "Take on Me" in there, she oughta get "The Sun Always Shines on TV", too......it's a better song, just never got the radio play it deserved...when was that, 1985? edit: and she needs Damn Yankee's "where you goin' now?" too. and Big Country's "Big Country". and... |

Well, these are just singles.. the list of full 80's albums that we have ripped borders on ridiculous. Overall storage space in the music server is edging towards 1TB, and most if it's hers. |
A female '80's music lover, eh? She doesn't have a younger, single sister, does she? 1TB...I'd like to work up to that... |

80's metal sucked ass with very few exceptions. Any metal that appeared in the top 10 really sucked ass.

Mmmmm Dale Bozzio. I still have her Hustler issue. |
Have you seen Dale Bozzio lately? Believe me, it quit. Almost as bad as Debbie Harry. link |
DUDE! Share with a brother. I must see! |
uhh....I'm going out on a limb here....in the poll, when you say "One", you mean by Metallica, right?
<-----gonna be mad if he finds out he voted for U2. |
WTF else would I mean????????????? and "ONE" IMO wasnt the best song on that album.......... |
Welcome to the Jungle - This songs sucks ass almost as bad as any Lynard Skynard song.
Hells Bells - Only good song listed. Peace Sells But Whos Buyin'? - ??? Right, who the hell ? One - Which group? Metallica sucks. Nuber of the Beast - Run to the Hills is much better. Come on, if its just metal then there must be a mandatory Molty Crue "Wild Side". And damn sure better think about Van Halen. You've Got Another Thing Comin' - Judas Priest! I can't believe "Guns and Posers" was a choice |
Duran Duran was good in the 80's. I still listened to G&R and the other heavy stuff but I still like some of the radio play
How 'bout a little Quiet Riot with some video added.............
Quiet Riot Video the way it should have been |
Actually, I'm 30. So I grew up listening to 80's music. Just not the crap. Oh and BITE ME! |

I agree, she was pretty hot in the day. Now she's fat and really looks her age. I guess all the partying and drugs catches up eventually. |

I had forgotten about Blister in the sun until Grosse Pointe Blank came out with John Cusack. They also have a great version of "My love" by Pete Townsend. I have the soundtrack on cd. Great movie quotes also. |
