I have a cousin station in iraq I have all his unit informatrion stuff,  and I've sent him a couple letters.  Well a couple weeks ago I sent him a shit load of stuff cost me 50 dollars to ship it to him.   I'm beginning to wonder if there would be anything in there that would prevent it from getting to him.  I sent gatrode (spelling) pregons, pretzlers, chewing gum and other hard type candy that wouldn't melt. Also I sent him some car magazines and other reading material that he wanted.  I left him an email and wrote him to see if he got the items but haven;t heard anything.  He fixes tanks for a living.

when was it that you sent the package? bear in mind it might take a bit.
what is the "reading material" that you sent? generally they dont open the packages.. they cant really, it's sig service special handling. they throw all mail into sealed bags. it took me a week and a half to get mine, im not in iraq, im in another spot that ships to it though.

Porno is the big no-no that they don't want. "It might offend the Muslims....."

Other than that, alcohol is the other bug-a-boo. During DS they'd made noise about Bibles, but I
kept my NT in my shirt pocket (little Gideon gimme) and nobody said 'Boo'.
