Figures, that's what I get for buying a Tasco. I went to remove the windage and elevation caps and it took the whole friggen adjuster off with it.

Good excuse to buy a real scope this time

Eh, I like my cheapo $40 scopes from gun shows for plinkin... they just dont last very long... good nuff for what I do.

How much do you use the 10/22? Is it even worth the investment in a $200+ scope?

I've got 5 or 6 Tasco's, never had one break or fail yet. I must be lucky or somethin.

I bought a tasco for my 10/22 and after one 5 mile snowmachine ride the WHOLE thing had pretty much rattled apart.

Friend has a 3.5x15 NXS mounted on his target 10/22 (VQ Stock, $$$$ Barrel, etc.). puts em all in one hole at 50yds...

I bought a Leu 3-9x40 Tactical scope for my rimfire..

Worked great.
