I have Playboys from 1981- present that I would like to offload. They are all in perfect shape, (no "sticky" pages) stored on a bookshelf. I really would like to get rid of these things to make room for "better" reading material. Any suggestions?

Even better- sell them on ebay -they are classic issues. Take the $ and give it to a program for handicapped vets or something.

That's a damned fine idea lol
I've got the same 'problem' - 30yrs worth, 8 file boxes full, looking for a way / place to unload them for at least enough $ to cover the cost of shipping (huge) or regional drive-dropoff (not quite as huge).

I have considered ebay in the past and checked out what was going on there. TONS of folks selling them, they don't seem to be moving too well. I'll check tonight and see what's going on now.

Here is a better idea:

Go to your nearest forest and build a small tree fort.  Stick the playboys in boxes covered in plastic and leave a note.  "YOU JUST FOUND THE MOTHERLOAD"

I remember when i was young 10 or 12 and with my buddies exploring the woods and stumbling across something similar.  Best memory i had when i was young.

As sad as it, this is bringing back the memory of finding a stack of them (and a "Cheer"? magazine if im not mistaken) wrapped up in multiple plastic bags by some powerlines in the woods.

I think we snagged some local kid's stash.  His fault... we were like 13.. what did he expect?

Go give them to a 13 year old who can appreciate them in a loving, healthy way.

Wow, I'm not the only one that found porno in the woods when I was a kid? Kinda makes me wonder what was going on. Even then, I didn't keep my stash in the woods.

Thats a great idea.  I never will forget the first one I found.  I found it on the side of the road.  I guess someone threw it out.  I kept it folded up in a paint can turned upside down in the woods.

Get a girlfriend or wife they are usually good at getting rid of that kind of stuff.

I too found a stash in the woods when I was 9 or 10.

BTW I had the Penthouse with Ms. America and Tracie Lords when I was in high school till my mom found it.

Scan the pics, and post 'em on the BOTD sections of prebans and full-auto. Then, all the crazy gun nuts that got kicked off of regular gun nut boards will think you're cool.

Shipping is the biggest problem.... even media mail will cost about $10/year!  I have a sizable collection that I believe includes every issue from 1970 to 2003 (still need 2004 issues) and I would buy yours but shipping is just too much!

Your best bet may be to auction them off on EBAY by the year and tell buyer that they need to pick them up localy or pay actual shipping and $10/year for media mail is probably a very close estimate.

Save them and give them to your son when he turns 18.  I have a friend who's doing something similar.  He'll be giving his son near;y 350 issues.  That'd be some present.

That is a great idea but, I will have no son, and my two daughters won't be interested, it's safe to say.

There were two gentlemen, (actually 3, but one is, "being taken care of") who IM'd me about some/all of these magazines. I was going to reply but, yeah you know, I forgot, now the messages are gone. If you other two are still interested, IM me please. OH YEAH, Garandman, are you genuinely interested in these, or just pullin' my chain?
