Ever hear of the program called Troops to Teachers?  It's a program for soldiers coming off active duty/retirement to teach in the public school system.  I've seen several threads recently talking about the liberal thinking, pussification of the American child.  I've worked as a school counselor in two high schools so I know this is true.

Wouldn't it be great if Arfcommer's were the History teachers and the principals?  If we had a group of us in the schools, working together, we could make some changes and start a process of teaching the right way to be an American, not the liberal way.  There would be resistance, but given enough time and enough people, this could work.  The public school system is extremely frustrating to deal with but unless we do something, our kids are in for a rough time.

Just a thought.

Until the libs are out of school administrative positions (both private and public) there is no hope of fixing the system.

IME, few school administrations have much interest in stopping a damned good History teacher from teaching History. Being able to hold an entire class full of students' attention and teach them something – day in and day out – is one of the few virtues that trumps political leanings.

Unfortunately, it has to be a labor of love, since teaching in most public schools is a thankless, low-paying fast track to burnout.
