The picture depicting the pre ban SP1 type AR is actually a post ban. It has a compensator and no bayonet lug.

Ooo, good catch. I didn't notice that one. It is designed mostly for the uninformed and informed gun nuts will find flaws with it - some are ones I just missed and others were ones that I didn't address because I was trying to keep it simple for people who aren't informed on the issue.
It does. That is my website and almost all of the pictures came from AR15.com.
I love that pic. It is real useful for showing the silliness of the ban. It looks just enough like an AR that they can see the similarities but also looks enough like a traditional hunting rifle that they can't quite figure why they feel uneasy. |

I missed the last one. I saw it had no lug, but it looked like a flash supressor to me. It's hard to tell the fake supressors from the real ones unless you have a close-up shot.
