Listen closely to the rhetoric, cutting through the BS, and you will find that Kerry is only there because of the ABB factor.
He isn't left enough for a lot of people's tastes, but he isn't Bush. |

Oh I agree. That is the only reason he is there. The good ole ABB crowd.
But if you view both candidates from a Communist point of view, I think most would pick Kerry. I would if I were a Communist. That's just kinda scary. And if you take a look around, the socialist and communist groups are endorsing him. Anyone they agree with should not be running a close race with someone who generally represents what we think of as American ideals, at least here in America! Again, scary. I just wonder how many of the ABB's realize that their ABB attitude at all costs is helping a candidate who is endorsed by Communists. |

If I were a "peasent" communist, I'd vote Kerry. If I were a rich & powerful communist, I'd vote Bush.

I posted this elsewhere but . . . In the 30s Stalin wanted the CPUSA to endorse FDR. Guss Hall, the leader of the CPUSA told Stalin that was a bad idea, that the CPUSA could help FDR more by running against him. Hall became the CPUSA presidential candidate, and he did better than any other CPUSA candidate in history. They got lots of calls in support, they would always tell the caller "vote for FDR". So, if you were a stupid communist, you would have voted for Guss Hall. If you were a smart communist, you would have voted for FDR. Your post kinda indicates that you lean towards the former, if you were a communist of course . . .

Thats not true, if we were communist we would get to vote, the trouble is there would only be one cadidate, and no write in option. |

Don't you mean "if this country were communist . . ."? Of course, as previously mentioned that isn't true. They voted in the USSR, it just didn't mean anything . . . |
