Socialists Urge Support for Kerry

The Democratic Socialists of America Political Action Committee (DSAPAC) released a statement today urging its members to work for the election of John Kerry in the 2004 presidential election.

"Kerry was hardly the first choice of our members. Most supported Dennis Kucinich or Howard Dean in the Democratic primary elections and would be very critical of Senator Kerry's voting record on trade issues, as well as his support for the resolution authorizing the use of force in Iraq; but the most important concern of our members now is to defeat Bush," said Frank Llewellyn, the National Director of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

The DSAPAC statement was very critical of the current direction of the Democratic Party, lamenting the strength of the Democratic Leadership Council as compared to the Congressional Progressive Caucus in Party circles. But the statement condemned the much greater threat to the interests of the average American posed by Republican control of all three branches of government.

The statement urged DSA members to participate in get-out-the-vote and voter education projects with other progressive organizations. "It is very important that progressive movements keep organizing and mobilizing so that we will be in a position to make demands on a new administration," Llewellyn continued.

The Democratic Socialists of America is the largest socialist organization in the United States, with 5500 members and local organizations in most large cities. It is affiliated to the Socialist International, a federation of the world’s socialist, social democratic and labor parties.

What are you guys talking about? John Kerry is a war hero, he fought for the ideals he believed in, he showed his true colors,but he had to be discharged from teh Navy first, didn't y'all see the pictures of him hanging in the War Crimes Museum in Ho Chi Mihn city commemorating the sacrifice he made to the cause?

The socialist liberal at work got really pissed off this morning because someone called her John Kerry supporting husband a "socialist". She got so mad she was about to blow her top then she ended up calling the guy Hitler and said they don't live in Nazi Germany and can support whoever they want.

Who are they kidding? The largest Socialist organisation in the US just held a convention last month, they nominated John Kerry to run for president.

Translation: They think that the Democratic party isn't far enough left yet.

Hey guys, do us all a favor and KEEP pushing them toward that cliff edge. The quicker they get there the quicker that the average American will FINALLY understand that the Democrats are REALLY socialists and have been for years.

She wouldn't understand.

She claims she didn't get any tax refund because GW only gave tax breaks to the rich. She'll go on to complain that her taxes are to high but in the same sentence also complain that enough people who need welfare aren't getting it. She wants the government to cover her healthcare costs and prescriptions, to give welfare to everyone who "needs", while at the same time reducing her taxes.

Today I learned the following:
She claims GW is trying to tax the middle class out of existance because that is the only group of people he can't control.

She also was talking about a pro-Kerry supporter who was given flack for his pro-Kerry stance. She said he should file charges because that's harassement. She was saying this while cornering her employees and forcing them to listen to all the crap spewing out of her mouth.

She just doesn't get it.
