don't use Kazaa dude it's full of spyware
kazaa lite is a good alternative..I don't know if it's still running, tho There's like a thousand other p2p programs out there that won't infect your puter with crap..so dump kazaa. |

It's a Peer to Peer file shareing program. You can download tons of illegal MP3's Copyrighted software and lots and lots of porn movies and pics. That is why your kids say you need it. It is also chock full of spyware and addware to mess up you computer unless you find the hacked light version.

Yeah, what he said. Ive picked up numerous viruses from it. Also got busted downloading literally a few songs (but that has more to deal with my ISP then Kazaa).
I'm not saying restrict your kids hardcore but be very careful of whats going on with P2P software. They truly are cracking down on internet piracy... |

Don't worry about the kids getting sued though, you'll take the heat for it so they will be ok.

I am deleting it as I type!
I downloaded it, looked at it and now I am getting rid of it... Anyone know of any good registry clean up software that's free? I use PGP and McAfee for deleting stuff and checking for spy/adware... |

kazaa lite K++ spyware and adware free,but is a big no no.if you got windows xp you can get napster and pay to download songs,or you can get I tunes it's pay to download songs,or Music match pay to download too and also walmart.com has a pay to download song section.

Kazaa lite, is cool. I have used it to download pron, pics, programs etc. You MUST have an up to date virus detection suite though or you WILL eventually get a virus.

If you're using XP just use a restore point prior to installing the program. I like WinMX as my P2P program - no spyware.

Good choice, I have nothing against responsible peer to peer use, but it can be too much for kids. As far as spyware goes, most spyware/adware checkers should also scan the registry and remove any malicious reg keys. If you want a good free program that does all that then go to www.lavasoft.de and get Adaware. It is the best one I've used and it's free. |

KaZaA Lite (which I "CERTAINLY DO NOT" use) doesn't have spyware, nor can the Rectally Impaired Angry Assholes track you.
