Of course it will. Gun nutz is a for profit enterprise, unlike arfcom which is a labor of love. They will do everything they can to booste their ranking in the belief that it will drive advertising dollars.

I think alot of people that are here and checking out the ranking thing are going to also click on the #1 to see what it is. should drive its numbers up also, but we will still beat it.

We're actually #1, but the statistics haven't caught up yet. Tomorrow, it will show that AR15.com is #1. AR15.com gets over 10,000 hits a day while it's nearest competitor only gets around 6,000.

There is another site that buys sites and allegedly put one out of commission to get more members on their site. They are ENTIRELY "For Profit Only", and don't seem to hide that fact. hint: they are in the top 10 on that rank, with a measley 3,000 or so hits per day. I have only ONE problem with them: One of the people from that business came over and posted something on pre-ban about their "hosted by xxxx" watermark removed from a photo, I pointed out that some places do this, like hunt101 to get their name out. He ripped into me like I was cutting him down, and, at the time, at Zero Clue what he was referring to, and was trying to help. If that is the way they are, you couldn't pay me to be a member there. I like this family! |

the dorknutz site is a vile collection of clueless children running a store-bought membership roster into the ground.
dweebthorn, despite his claims of being a usn seal and international banker, lives in a squalid suburb with a rotting boat in the driveway and a garbage cans sitting in the yard (yes, pics were posted on the ak side a few weeks ago). he hasn't figured out how to use "their" and "there", yet gets his tax law lawyer tio threaten jen (falfiles.com) and ar15.com with lawsuits. ian (the original owner and founder) of ak-47dotnet ran an outstanding site...before it became infested with vermin. a site rating war? not a chance. like everything else, from their phoney baloney sponsors (remember scammers like sai/guccione?) to their membership count, nothing can be trusted. but hey, as long as shotgun news gives them a 5-star rating (wth?)...it's all goooood! |
