You're in a terrible predicament. I'm not sure, but check to see if there are any updates to the Windows Media Player on the Microsoft Update site. If your software is all patched and current, try reinstalling your DivX codec. www.divx.com/divx/download

If you need a little assistance for those monkey spanking sessions, just go to an adult video store and pick up the real deal. Computers are good for lots of things but I hate watching any type of movie on them. TV's and VCR's/DVD players are just so much better for that purpose.
The only videos I'll bother with on the PC are those showing the terrorists doing stupid things and getting taken out. Of course the only reason I use the PC for that is because I can't get them elsewhere. But I can never get those damn players to work half the time. Anyway, good luck and I hope you can get it all figured out. |

I prefer Media Player Classic. It will usually tell you what codec you need.
You can also use gspot to find out what codec was used for a avi file. They probably had porn watchers in mind when they named it

yeah i used to use those porn samples in like the 10th grade but im through with that. they are definately frustrating. the best thing for you to do in the given situation is to get some real nice dvd collection going (sorry if its not so cost effective) or call up an ex gf.

I downloaded the Divx Player but it doesn't fix the problem with WMP. I want to use that application if at all possible. I'm trying the GSPOT link now to see if that helps.
DivX is ok but you can't library the files for a decent movie show. I need hands free operation here folks!!!!

Download and install the K-Lite Codec Pack and you will be able to play just about anything out there.
home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/mirror.htm I suggest the "K-Lite Codec Pack 2.27 Full". It includes DivX and XviD, the 2 most popular codecs on the internet right now for encoding of full length movies. |

why not download winamp, then dl all ur files as mpegs(obviously) and then library them in there? that used to always work when the situation called for it.

Don't just get K-Lite Full, get the K-Lite MEGA codec pack.
But in any case, get the K-Lite package and quit using WMP. |
