Aren't they all XM15's? I was wondering if he used a varminter or A3? Just curious about his setup cause I didn't have a AR when all that crazy stuff was happening.

16 inch HBAR with EOTech.

I was in Bullseye today. I only saw four or five ARs. They want $800 for a compact ACOG and $240 for a case of PMC 55gr FMJ. Fuck that, I can mail order.

Have the authorities ever released info yet as to what ammo those two fucktards were using? At last check that was a no, although I have heard speculation.

That darned evil rifle anyhow.   I wonder how they ever hit a point target with a weapon designed to spray from the hip....   Nearly any ammunition would do in their scenario, headshots and close up on a  kid .   They would have been far more deadly with an old 03 springfield but I'm sure the "assault rifle" crap will start up again Verryyyy sooon.     Anybody know how many thrusts per squeeze they got?

Yeah. What the news media failed to mention is that this evil, bullet hose would have been no more effective in those shootings than a scoped .22 LR, any hunting rifle you'd care to mention or even a damn muzzleloader. The mode of operation seemed to generally be one shot at fairly close range. Then they moved on. Virtually any type of rifle, or even in some cases shotguns, would have been just as deadly.

I'm not sure about the Eotech.  The rifle shown in a pic in the courtroom a while back was just an example.

I believe that their main concern was the weight limit for a 737.

Ya'll are missing the point. A sniper is someone who uses stealth and/or fieldcraft to engage in precision marksmanship (regardless of range) against a chosen target. He was definitely a sniper.
