Wonder how long it will take for this to get spun 180 degrees and folks start complaining about police brutality?  To bad the perps didn't die.

They absolutely were not sweeping each other.  Those are some of the best operators in the business -LASD SEB.

Armchair commandos...

WTF, the 17 year olds were taken to a juvenile facility and charged with burglury?  They will be out of jail in less than 3 months.  Those punks should be facing some serious federal firearm charges.  They might not have had a firearm when they initiated the felony but they definately had them part way through.  The federal law says that if you commit a felony while carrying a firearm you get a mandatory 5 years in jail.  Too bad the prosecutor won't enforce the damn laws.

Nice source of information, real unbiased.  I suspect the part they left out was a lot of screaming cops, yelling, "Police, drop the weapon."  Oops, I guess they forgot that part.  And don't bother arguing that they didn't do it.  Been there, done that.

Did you read any of the articles?  They did tell him to drop the weapon and then shot him as he was doing it.  Sure, they are biased cause they are pissed.  But the main point is that the LASD shoudn't have been there in the first place.  They did their best to trump up drug charges against the man so that they can seize his property under the asset forfeiture statute.  The DA of Ventura County even backed this up.

i go to that gun store once in awhile for ammunition, but, for all of the gun stores in the high desert it isnt one of the more plentiful ones around. i was surprised to hear they got away with 4K worth of guns. looking at that rack on a normal day one would think they only had around 2K worth of weapons in there combined.

Why in the hell did the kids not get their brains blown out when they hit the place? That would have at least saved the police future problems from these punks.

Algae in the gene pool is all they are...

Yeah, because the cops ALWAYS identify themselves....I think they have a shoot first and identify later policy. In fact, if memory serves it was on THIS very forum that was discussed having the Swat Team raid you at 2 AM when your asleep, you wake up and dont know whats going on and get gunned down trying to protect your family.
It MIGHT have been on gunboards.com though, so i cant say for sure I read it here.....
