wel, i do own an izhevsk/izmash military makarov (and that's
NOT pronounced MAK'-ah-rovvvv! it's ma-KOOR-off...lol!) as procured from my friend wolfsburgbob at the akronarmory. i also have one commercial version i bought in 1995.
so robust...so uncomplicated...so well engineered...so utterly reliable...so effectively accurate!
i AM convinced jsc izhevsk could manufacture a fine jennings/lorcin/davis/hi-point firearm!

while it's a fine position rifle, for pure accuracy, it will not outshoot my czeckoslovakian 1956 brno no. 4 match rifle that was made by...oh that's right...uneducated peasants from the 3rd world communist shithole! heheh!
