I once shot a Hi-Point, with a shotgun.

Hi-Point is the worst gun I have ever handled.

If you are going to throw your money away on crap it's up to you.

I bought one nib at a pawn shop last year for $159. That cheap piece of shit is well made and is 100% reliable. I have about 1k rds of wolf  thru mine and zero ftf. I would not trust my life to it, but much like  an sks good trunk or ranch gun.

I'm almost afraid to say this, but buy an SKS over the "Low Point".

SKS pluses;

Cheaper.

A real militery weapon (was used in parades)

They actually work

More powerful

Besides, SKSs "assault rifles" were derived from the AK47. Or so they say in Indianapolis

100% reliable.  1,000 rounds without ftf.

So..........why wouldn't you trust your life to it?

Sounds like a reliable friend to me.

Honestly Painless, it's because its too cheap. I have some kin of stigma about cheap weapons and my life.

I understand where you are coming from.

But I'd rather a cheap firearm that was 100% reliable than a $3,000 race gun that had a failure every few magazines.

Well made?!?!?!  The stock bends if you look at it hard!  I sold the one I bought when the second striker spring started to go.

Hi-Point carbines are total trash.

The only time I ever saw one that worked was the guy who killed himself with one. I think they are the long gun version of  a Jennings.
