I just tried to contribute, and got a  message saying "There was a problem processing your transaction"

No reason given.

I know the Dems were hacking the Vets site.

Anyone else have any problems.

I donated today.  I have hi-speed cable and it took a while to complete the transaction.  Try again.  I have a feeling they are getting lots of hits and their server just isn't up to it.

I hit the refresh button and then it sade "Duplicate transaction."

Guess I'll wait to see if my credit card gets dinged.

Worked ok for me except that the first time I tried to connect to:
www.swiftvets.com/
I got a time out error.  I figure there's a combination of heavy
interest and maybe a little denial of service going on there.
Keep trying and donate if you can spare it.

I know that earlier on the response was overwhelming the servers, they had a message that said they were fixing that issue.

How did you find this info?  I'm hoping someone has evidence for later.

I had a hard time reaching their site... I guess theirs some D.O.S. going on.  I finally got in, and donated $50.  We need to keep these folks on the air!

It was hitting the refresh button that caused the problem... sounds like the original did go through, tho... I donated earlier tonight, it was a bit slow but processed the contribution...

I donated $100.  Don't tell my wife!

I saw Buchanan on Scarborough tonight ripping Kerry and his defenders over this.  Says Kerry acted like a traitor after Vietnam.

And just what would you label Michael Moore and groups like MoveOn.org who have been doing the same, if not worse, over the past few months? Huh?

All the SwiftVets are doing is fighting fire with fire. And there's actually a pretty damn good chance that what they are saying is actually TRUE, unlike the other before mentioned parties.

I find it wholly consistent that men who once offerred their very lives in service to their country in war would now take a stand for truth, going pubic with this story, putting their own names out there, for the Dems to smear, and dig up dirt on, and attack personally and demean.

Tell me, you who call these men scheisters -

What have YOU done for your country???

They aren't

have no fear,  gun people are some of the tightest people with their money I have ever seen.

They spend 10.00 in gas to save 79 cents on a deal. I see it first hand every day -- it is all smoke.

Why exactly do you hang out here?  And would you please answer my question... weren't you the same guy who broke a $500 Surefire tactical light by using it as a torque wrench and surprise surprise broke it, and tried to claim the product was defective, bashed Surefire here and tried to get them to cover it under warranty even though the use was clearly abusive and voided the warranty?

Once again, if I have you confused with someone else please clear this up for me... but that is my recollection.

I like you guys -- that is why. I enjoy the conversation so to speak.

Sir, this is the second time you have brought up a sure thing flash light - no it was not me. I only own cheap ass Wal Mart flash lights.

I no longer donate money to any political organization, right or left. And as for the "Kerry served in 'Nam and George didn't"  childish BS, I find most (probably all) of it to be pathetic and demeaning attacks that serve no useful purpose for either side and they simply serve to divide us (the American people) even more. Many years ago, I decided that service in the military was not a necessary requirement for the office of the President in my not-so-humble opinion. Likewise, if a candidate did serve, then where and how matters less. It is time for the wounds of Vietnam to heal, past time.
