Has anyone heard the latest? I haven't seemed to have got it yet, and I understand it was supposed to drop on the 16th, this past Monday. Anyone know the scoop?

XP home was supposed to be able to AU on the 18th.  XP pro has been pushed to the 25th.

If you use SUS, it was made available on the 16th, and you can synch your
SUS server and pull it from there.
