I got OJs autograph in 87 and I met Scott Peterson in 1990. I shook hands with both of them
Who would've thunk it... |

I know a guy who was in a bar with Mohammed Atta and they were buying each other drinks and shit.
Scary that those fuckers camped out down here. |

I've played golf with the guy who gave up Roger Maris' 61st home run.

Some kid I went to highschool with that dated my friend for a brief time wound up a suspected serial killer up in San Fran. He murdered his landlady, ate some parts of her and stuffed the rest in a trash can.
That's the one he got caught for.... |

I 've had Mike Tyson come up and talk to me, at a shooting range no less.

David Duke, sort of ... pic, I've hit the one on the right . This was at a mardi gras parade in my hometown.

|
I am not screwing with you. Most of those fuckers were in S. Fla and hit the clubs and titty bars regularly. A guy I know just happened to be in a bar with him about a month prior. No warning or indication of any kind of what kind of person he was. Just another Arab in a bar. |

And you didn;t kick the snot out of her??!!?? What's up with that? |

Albert Ezron Reid, who is on the PA death row right now. He committed a double homicide while I was his manager.
Reid killed his wife and step-daughter a few weeks before he was to go on trial for molesting the step-daughter. When the police went to Albert's hotel room the next morning, they found a list in his shoe. There were four names on the list: His wife, the step-daughter, the prosecutor, and the judge. The first two names had been crossed off. The jury deliberation did not take long. |

I was on the clock at the time, and she was trying to go where she was not authorized to go. I laid hands on her, turned her about 70 degrees to starboard and corrected her misapprehension. The look on her face could not have been anymore gratifying if I HAD put my foot in her ass. |

The act of causing that hag some measure of pique and discomfiture was its own reward. |
|
|
Pardon the interruption, but...you met Jesse Jackson? Please elaborate. |
|
|
I did it in the name of all those who would given much to have been in my shoes that night. |

Your next lesson in Bushido: Right action. You do what is "right" simply because it is "right" without thought of consequence or reward. You did what you did because it was right. Right action dictates right action from others. |

I sat a row back and across the aisle from that dink on a Southwest flight from Ontario, CA to Sacramento, CA once. He was trying to read a book and some really earnest, starry-eyed turtleneck wearing guy with curly hair and granny glasses squatted in the aisle next to him and tried to carry on a worshipfull conversation with him. The Rev did not encourage the exchange and was fairly short with the fist-faced groupie, but he did not end up getting much of his book read on the flight. |

Synchronicity: I'm reading Hagakure right now. I mean I bought it about six hours ago and put it down to respond to your post. |

I got to meet Charles Manson while serving a warrant of extradition at Corcoran(sp?) Prison in CA. Talked to him for several minutes through a glass holding cell. We talked about my job and what I had seen traveling to CA. He is a short little guy only about 5'1 or so..While talking to the guards there I learned they give him hell when transporting him by letting 2 female guards accompany him unrestrained,I guess it's a mental thing...that was in 1995

Ahhh The Book of Leaves. You are doing well kohai I'd also recommend Bushido the Warriors Code by Inazo Nitobe. It would make the Hagakure more understandable with Nitobes book as a foundation. www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0897500318/qid=1092897427/sr=ka-3/ref=pd_ka_3/002-1335945-6926403 Also recommend, The Fighting Spirit of Japan: The Esoteric Study of the Martial Arts and Way of Life in Japan by E. J. Harrison One of the first books by a westerner written in the late 19th century. www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0879511540/qid=1092897710/sr=ka-1/ref=pd_ka_1/002-1335945-6926403 |

Went to the bar with Christopher Hitchens last year.

Most recently met Caroline Kennedy at a Xmas party a few years ago, very nice lady.
Ushered Jackie Kennedy at my brother in-laws wedding, another very nice lady. Met NJ Governour Tom Kean and picked his drunk wife up off the floor at the same wedding, too shit faced to remember much. Met the DuPont relative that shot the Olympic wrestling team dude, can't remember his name but he seemed okay. Mr and Mrs Fred Gwynne(aka: Herman Munster)at the petshop I used to manage. My boss said if anyone calls him Herman Munster he will kill them. He hated being typecast from that role. At the same petshop I also met Vanessa Del-Rio, queen of blow-jobs in late 70's and 80's porno flicks and Debbie Harry(lead singer of Blondie). Debby was kind of fat and skanky when I met her. Saw most of the 98-99 Minnesota Vikings naked in the locker room, NO!!! I was a cameraman by this time with KXLT in Minnesota and we where doing interviews with a dozen other camera crews. Saw Sigourney Weaver on a subway once in 87, I recognized her and she saw me looking and I mouthed the words Sigourney Weaver and she winked at me. I gave her the thumbs up and I got off a few stops later. Damn she looks good in person too!! Also ran into Larry king and his babe-ette wife in 93. |

My mother was about 20ft from Bubba Klinton at Union Station in January, 2000.
John Kerry came to my highschool (largest in the state and also a polling place) to campaign during the democratic primaries. I could have spit on the bastard if I'd stayed there until 7pm. |
|
I watched the last scene of “Arthur” filmed in NYC. That means that I crossed paths with Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli.
Do they count? |
|
Yeah, the guy came to my high school a number of years ago (mid 90's) during one of his tours. He stopped at several schools in the area. They brought us into the auditorium for a big assembly and everything. After it ended, the students were allowed to talk to him if we wished or return to class. I figured I'd hang around and toy with the guy (as well as get out of class). I got to speak a few words to him. In that short time I informed him I was a conservative and disagreed with most of his views. He made a smart-ass reply because this is a rather poor area. He said something like "what do you have here to conserve?". I just told him "ohhhhhh, a few things like freedom". I only wish that I'd been a little better prepared. I would have added "and I have the firepower to make sure I keep it!". I'd seen the guy a few times on tv prior to that, but I had no idea of what an argumentative, arrogant, asshole of a jackass he really was until I saw him in action. I don't think many of the people in attendence were too enthusiastic about his message. This is a very conservative area. Hell, even the teachers wanted nothing to do with the jackass. |

Does this qualify? I was the last person to sit on the Emperor of China's throne. This was before the communists took over.

Tactical Jew met Scott Pederson in 1990, the guy is 28 now. You remember meeting a future murderer when he was 14? Did you go to school together?
Bill O'Reilly came to GITMO when I was there in 2002, he wanted a boat ride in one of our PSU boats and was a basically a dick. He requested that we refrain from speaking with him and no autographs. I was suprised we didn't have to avert our eyes. You see Mark Furman around sometimes and Craig T. Nelson stayed on the same floor of a local hotel as my mom, so we rode the elevator a few times with him. When I was about 18, I worked at a hotel in Florida, Donny Osmond stayed there. We delivered some stuff to his room and he offered an autograph instead of a tip, I said I'd rather have the two dollars. I am not sure if he was pissed but we got a memo to our department that said we should accept autographs from people we dont like if they offer. |

He's 32 or 33. Went to the same high school as my ex-girlfriend in San Diego. We were at the prom and she said "Here, i'd like you to meet Scott. He's the captain of the golf team" as I was introduced to a few of her friends. I shook his hand and thought nothing of it. He was just some shaggyhead San Diego punk to me. When the story first broke I didn't recognize him right away. |
