Why is it that no matter what the original reputation of the gun, whenever they get demilled and sold as parts kits they suddenly become deriguer.

How many of you are lining up for the (Inevitable) Enfield l85 parts kit rebuilds?

I think more then would be willing to admit due to the fact that its something new and interesting.

Don't get me wrong,  Im all for new and interesting things... but how much of it is hype?

Where there's a will, there's a way...Beretta AR70 kits are out there, and there's now people making receivers for 'em. Same with AK's, same with FAL's, 1919's, etc. Have yet to see a semi BAR-D reciever, though...that's one thing I'd love to have built up.
