It seems that that the prices have not gone down on used magazines and I am wondering what the prices will be after September 14th. You can buy LE 30 round factory magazines for $15.00 and I wonder  what will happen next month. Will we too be able to get top quality magazines for a reasonable price?

I'm expecting them to get SLIGHTLY cheaper...not much.....the best news is, there's MUCH more incentive for companies to produce new magazines for oddball stuff.
edit...hey, it's the most reasonable AWB question we've had....I thought I'd cut him some slack.

A few of the distributors I deal with (even though according to SteyerAug I am not a dealer-only he is) have told me that in the past week or so, some folks have made insane purchases of  LEO mags-such as $30,000 in Glock mags of all calibers, Colt AR Mags, Ruger Mini-14 mags, etc.  So no, I think most dealers will stillbe trying to rip folks off.  Just look at the people on the EE still trying to nail folks for a $1400.00 "Pre-Ban."  What a joke!!

I agree - it doesn't cost the manufacturer any more to make a normal-capacity magazine than it does a limited capacity one, in fact it's probably cheaper, since they can go back to producing just one size for each weapon / caliber.  They should list for the same price as the current 10-rd mags.  But I bet you'll be able to pick up some cheap 10-rd mags for plinking at the range...

That is because there are takers. A Glock 20 15 round magazine just went for $130 over on GT. This magazine will be worth $15 tops in 25 days.

For most weapons mags will cost as much as current low-caps.

AR mags, however, will benifit from a great flood... I await 10 years of surplus mags to surface.

I remember selling good used 30's in my shop for $2.50 in 1993 because troops brought so many surplus ones back from DS.
