Seriously.
10 gen 2 Pmags AND a nitride MPI full auto BCG for $129 https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-nitride-mpi-full-auto-5-56-bcg-10-magpul-pmag-30rd-gen2-moe-5-56-magazines.html |

And yes, I just bought 1 of the deals. Wanted an extra BCG to have around. I needed more Pmags like I need a hole in the head though.

They're pretty straightforward about not maximizing profits.
https://palmettostatearmory.com/about-psa.html Putting guns into "common use" is an important legal defense established by the Supreme Court that safeguards the rights of the people against tyranny by prohibiting restrictions on firearms found to be "in common use". Putting any gun into "common use" protects against any attempt by the government to further infringe on the Second Amendment right of all Americans. View Quote |

I wonder if they’re gonna do that 50%-60% suppressor sale like they did a few years ago.
My wallet is lubed and ready…. |
|
At that price they are still making money. Places that sell at higher prices are making even more.
|
|
I'd like to see the warehouse where all those Get II's that they've been trying to give away for the last two years are stored.
|
|
What they lose with their pricing, they make up for with volume. I guess. That or magic.

View Quote Because we are naive enough to think "places" that buy PMAGs by the thousand get the same deal as those who buy them by the container. If the Magpul people are not buying golf trips for the McCallums, the world is broken. |

Do you actually know anyone who makes parts for them?
No… There is a reason for that… I’m guessing their factory is staffed with Oompa Loompas or Minnions. |

My first Black Friday 2022 firearm related purchase. Thanks OP.

After I die one day and there is another weapons ban, my kids are going to thank me when they open random boxes in my basement and find endless Pmags still in the wrapper.

Sam Walton became a billionaire by making pennys of profit while his competitors went out of business trying to compete while making quarters and dollars.

I always used the little Ceasars vs. Papa Johns.
You can sell a $5 pizza and a ton of them or a $12 pizza and make less of them. Compare business growth of spikes vs. PSA. Spikes lowers were always like $119 and PSA was blowing them out for $50 and the quality was the same. The lower profit margin that PSA uses has really worked well for them when you see how big they have gotten vs the guys that always tried to charge more and have not grown. |
|
Because stuff at wholesale does not cost as much as stuff at retail. Psa generally sell direct to the consumer, which cuts out the distributor and retailers who also need to make a profit.
PSA is not losing money on anything that leaves their loading dock. |
|
Like most large retailers, when you place orders for huge amounts of product, you get better pricing. PSA makes many of their parts and pieces of the guns they sell, they control the quality and pricing of these parts. I would wager that PSA has put more AR's in people's homes than all of the other manufacturers combined.
You make a quality product that functions, sell it for a fair price, give good customer service, you will do well. PSA has a lot of haters but PSA is a very successful company. |
|
|
They just made some from me this week. And a few weeks before. Etc.
|
|
they probably buy in such bulk I'm sure PSA gets stuff at almost cost from manufacturers.

A while back I bit the bullet and bought a lotta Gen 3 PMAGs.
Gen 2 non-windowed are for the poors. |

I've jumped on that deal a few times now and every time I see it I have to tell myself not to

They certainly get a lot of my money. Still want one of their spikers. But I’ve spent a metric fuck ton on guns this year.

Quoted: I know. You can get just the BCG for $59 but why not add 10 Pmags for basically $6 each. Hey, my kids will love all the Pmags 20 years from now when mags are non-existant. Walmart strategy.
Sell alot of low cost items to get you in the store and get you on higher quality products for win. |
|
Volume and slightly lower on the quality, not junk airsoft quality, but like rails with the occasional rough corner or anodizing or hat isn’t quite as thick. I still buy their stuff and am a happy customer. Not ever firearm needs to be Gucci tactical $1,000 for a roll pin hand forged in the depths of Mordor kind of thing.
FWIW they have the same BCG on sale for $60 so that mags are $70 or $7 each |
|
They have ran that deal for a while. I have one of those nitride bolts in a suppressed 10.3 SBR and it is a solid performer. Has around 1500 rounds down the pipe. Gas rings are still tight. The only thing I did was swap the extractor spring out for a Sprinco 5 coil unit.

Thanks for the heads up, OP; been passing that one along to friends.
