I was going through some stuff and came across this. I think I’ve posted it in a thread here before, but I think it’s pretty cool.
It’s a coin from a Hawaiian beer company and my grandfather was in the Navy at Pearl Harbor so I imagine it is from that time frame. I imagine he had a lot of cheap beers with his buddies on that island before the fun began. What random cool stuff have you got sitting around? Attached File Attached File |

I have a 1940 presidential campaign button, Republican flavored. It was anti-FDR and written by someone who didn’t know some guys weren’t as weak as him, and that someday Viagra would be invented.

Edited to add that I don't have one, but I thought it was something pretty cool that I seriously doubt anyone here owns. And why, when posting from my phone, does the board software rotate my pictures? Is that a known bug? |

So I know I’m the only person on arf that has one as of right now. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/77421/4E385E96-1CEE-4B0F-9CD5-195D2A525CF8-2552187.jpg View Quote What kind of mag pouch is that? Kind of looks like a very fashionable lady’s purse with the zippers at the top. |

Franchi Para Takedown 22lr. Top pic is mine. Bottom pic is not mine, but that's what the whole kit-and-caboodle looks like. Which I have. Produced in the late 70's. Only 8000 were made. Only 3000 of which were imported to the USA.

A bunch of figurines from Walt Disney himself, that nobody can identify. They may be junk or they may be one-off prototypes...One of these days I will retsart my quest to ID them.
I have a baseball signed by tom candiotti. I bet no one else has one, because no one wants one! His wife was friends with my aunt, so he would sign stuff for her to give us as Christmas gifts. ETA - I also have a great-grandfather that has a street named after him in NY. He was killed in the line of duty by one of his subordinates. Some really awesome people got the city workers there to give me the street sign. |
