Who doesn't?

Not many Elements rocking them, that's for sure.

The Element had hilarious commercials, and you don’t see many on the road today. Wonder why?

I dont have one but, a friend does and I think they are great every day vehicles.

I don't mind Elements at all but those rims are ugly and would look bad on anything you put them on with that much sidewall

I dig it, bravo sir!

My brother in law has one. Strut spacer lift and KO2 tires.

Over 300k miles with regular maintenance. All while being rode hard and put away wet.

Should of put beefier tires on it? What are the specs on wheels and tires? I would of also went with the x9’s the narrower rpf1’s don’t look as good.

LS1's are boring.
This calls for a GSXR swap or something fun like that.

I had one and it was a great buy and got me through those days.  I had a bag of those body panel clip/fasteners sitting on standby.

Amen brother.

The reason why it got new shoes is it's about to turn 200K.

Runs like a top, only have really had to put consumables on it.

I love the element. Though I don’t own one or driven one. But we had one as a delivery car at work. Seemed like a cheap practical car to carry crap in and not worry about it getting dirty on the inside. And if it did, use a leaf blower or hose to clean the inside

Awd manual? I like elements because despite being ugly, they have a decent drivetrain

Does "consumables" include the starter? Because if that hasn't happened yet, it will.

Also be sure you're keeping up on valve adjustments. Most people don't have that as a maintenance item they think about, but it's still a line item on K24s for that generation.

Yeah, you got me.  Put a starter in around 170K.

And to be completely transparent, since I work for a major auto dealership chain ($45 an hour labor, cost + 10 on part), I've dropped some coin on the Element for the 200K.

Valve adjust, brakes, ebrake, had the whole suspension gone through, etc.

Drives like a new car.

Always thought Elements were neat in that quirky way.

I guess they still have quite the following - looked up for sale in FL and came across this low mileage specimen:

$21,973!!!

That's the Kia Soul.

I'm offended.

Just did a longer road test, they ride very smooth.

I was worried I was losing about half my sidewall, but ride is not noticeably harsher.

You're going to get more impact energy (I hit a small pothole) but all in all, I'm gonna call it a win.

If you haven’t replaced or rebuilt the ignition, you should before it’s stuck somewhere.
