The three episode premier or Andor airs tomorrow 9/21 (or tonight at midnight Pacific time for the hardcore nerds
 ). This thread is for discussing the show and, unavoidably, general bitching about the direction Disney is taking the franchise. Based on the trailers and how awesome Rogue One is, I have high hopes for this series. It can't be worse than Book of Boba Fett, right? ....Right? Like an abused spouse, I’m ready to be hurt again.  Please keep the discussion to aired episodes. If spoilers get leaked about upcoming episodes, keep that shit out of here. Likewise, if you want to talk about how people shouldn't be giving money to Disney, feel free to start your own topic about that. I saw the original, in the theaters, in 1977 and I have seen The STAR WARS Holiday Special in 1978. EVERYTHING else is somewhere in between

Lot of excitement so far from the non-Skywalker fans, filmed on real sets not the circular backdrop used in the other shows, proper development of the series and character (though knowing there is a hard stop end) and that it is Andor and not Jyn. Have a  about the Maul saber style ship they showed in the trailer though.

After watching Rogue 1 and Mandalorian I am quitting while I'm ahead. I'd rather savor the good memories of stories well told than continue watching unentertaining crap made by unimaginative people. Rogue 1 is a retelling of the battle of King's Mountain. A small highly motivated group is left no choice, takes on a much larger foe, wins the day, and provides the turning point for a war of independence. |

Rogue One was really solid.
This one seems to be very similar, and I have high hopes. One thing I can’t get over is that the ‘rebel’ guerillas are armed with AKs. Like literally just AKs that look like they came straight out of Iraq. |
