Do they fit rifles with optics? High red dots and larger mag scopes?
|
|
they were giving them away on ebay years ago. Almost bought one, still kinda wish I had one. Can only imagine how much space that would take up.
|
|
$140.38 after taxes and shipping.
These were selling on txguntrader years ago for 400 dollars. They were calling them "mobile armories". May have to fo on this. |

Quoted: Do they fit rifles with optics? High red dots and larger mag scopes? View Quote The cases do not allow an optic to be fitted onto the weapon. In addition when full they are heavy as shit, huge, awkward, and a general pain in the ass. However for $105 that is a steal, they are fantastically well built. |

They’re pretty nice cases. I bought some several years ago at auction, but mine weren’t rifle containers.

Pelican's M4/M16 case support space for common optics like the Aimpoint Pro or CompM4, Trijicon ACOG, and EOTECH holosights provided they are mounted on the flattop receiver and not on top of a carry handle

Ooh tempting.
My usgi metal rack is nice but sucks to transport. |

Why do the A1's have non-rotating A2 sling swivels while the A2 has no sling swivel at all?
ETA: Talking buttstock swivels. |

$115 and some odd cents for each one shipped to Montana. I cannot pass that up.
Thanks OP! |

I’ve got 1 case that holds 12 and 2 that hold 6. I’ve got them, thinking those will come in handy someday. Someday hasn’t arrived.

It's SG so no telling what or what condition will arrive. I swore them off years ago.

I just gave one of those away. A friend that also had one was using it as a base for a coffee table in his store.

thanks for the heads up, op. i got mine, 140+change. shipping would have been free, with a three month membership, but i didn't want one. ships fedex ground, and they say will be at the house by next tuesday.

This will end up being like the hot dog v hot dog bun ratio debate. Now you have to make sure your collection is divisible by 12. Get a new AR now you got to build/ buy 11 more and get one more case. It could potentially be a problem.

How hard would it be to put a set of wheels on one end of these?
|
|
The Pelican equivalent looks very nice but it's like $1.5-2k. This is a steal even if it might have some limitations around optics.

SOOTCH worked ... now waiting for Sportsman's guide to cancel order and list at a higher price

The no optics thing is kinda a deal breaker for me. I'd never use it if I had to remove all of my optics. Nice price though

60 pounds empty...Apparently it takes lot of plastic to make them sturdy...
|
|
Those won’t work with 95% of the ARs that people actually own.
