That's crazy!
He did not kill those kids, but the biased judge and courts sure think he did. |

this is only the first, there will be more
gonna skin alex 'pig boy' jones out like a stump broke buffalo. sux to be him |

Jones bilked that situation in the most crass and dishonorable way. He shames us by association. His temerity is just horrible.

Will the plaintiffs accept partial payment in vitamins, anti-fluoride bumper stickers and Infowar canoe oars?

What kind of Soviet style justice is this shit now? Whatever he did, he certainly did not damage anyone to the tune of $45M. His attorneys need to be arguing that this is a politically motivated judgement designed to cause a chilling effect on free speech for anti-government citizens. Because that's exactly what it is.

Quoted: Good View Quote No, it's not. He's an idiot but this is a HORRIBLE outcome to anyone who has half a brain. It WILL be used against enemies of the state and there are always willing lackey's to bring suit against those their master wants to destroy. People who are cheering this don't have the foresight to see it will be used as a weapon and it won't be against the left. Jones is a miserable excuse of a human but it is still a bad ruling. Exactly who is allowed to call something a conspiracy anyways? |

What was his crime? I thought we had freedom of speech in this country. Or is that just an illusion?

Part of me says good. The amount is so ludicrous it should have no chance on appeal

View Quote wasnt tried for a crime (yet). may get one for perjury. he was tried for 'damaging' the plaintiff. civil lawsuit. claimed sandy hook kids werent murdered and parents were government 'crisis actors'. some families got death threats. jones sold snakeoil, chocolate flavored bone soup and fake boner pills, t-shirts and other bullshit on his show to the faithful who came to gobble up his rancid diarrhea conspiracy stories. |

This kind of behavior should be discouraged and losing large amounts of money is a good discouragement. Just like the MAGA hat kid got paid by CNN for slandering him. Would you rather have a world where, if you're rich and powerful enough, you can lie and destroy individuals who are powerless to fight back? |

So...he didn't commit a crime. What is this "civil" lawsuit baloney? If there's no crime, there should be no lawsuit allowed.

I haven't been following this whole Sandy Hook Alex Jones thing. What exactly is he accused of doing? As far as I understand, he merely expressed some very insensitive opinions.

Quoted: Does Texas limit that? That's ridiculous View Quote Yes, tort reform is one of the things GWB pushed and Perry completed the job. I don’t recall the exact limits for deformation, but medical is limited to around $200k for punitive. Compensatory is limited to actual expenses or projected expenses. I want to be clear that I am not a lawyer or giving legal advice. The numbers I quoted are from my personal understanding of the law. |

Good, now if we can start suing all the other conspiracy theorists spouting bullshit libel like labeling drag queen story hours members as groomers when they're merely trying to expand a child's cultural well-roundedness
