When your specialty is basically infil > shoot-'em-in-the-face DA > exfil, I would think fence sitter would be the proper course of action at this time. Having these guys out in the open influencing and agitating would only lead to censorship, bans, IRS audits, etc. They'd be picked off one by one while we still are in a relative state of civility (by World standards). I think these guys would be best utilized when S actually HTF. I believe people like Glover, Jocko, Stumpf, Ryan, Carr, Ritland and Emerson would go to work.

Won't throw him into the same bucket as Glover. He obviously runs a business now but his podcast has some real gems that will live on forever. His supplements and stuff are pretty legit. I turned a co-worker onto the Joint Warfare and he actually took a bottle to his surgeon (we are both Army vets with back issues) who said the ingredients are spot on and would do a lot for him but they can't tell people to take supplements because of the FDA rules around treating a medical condition with supplements. |

ON UKRAINIAN STATEHOOD "Ukraine never had a tradition of genuine statehood." https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/extracts-putins-speech-ukraine-2022-02-21/ NATO’s “provocation” of Russia was never about threatening Russia’s security interests — the idea that Russia, a geographically massive nuclear power, is at risk of being invaded is absurd. Rather, it simply challenged Russia’s sense of ownership over eastern Europe. Russia’s calls to respect its “sphere of influence” have always been predicated on the idea that eastern Europe does not have the right to defend itself from Russian domination and that eastern Europeans have no genuine right to self-determination. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/adam-zivo-putin-finally-unmasks-his-imperial-ambitions Why Ukraine’s Fight Against Corruption Scares Russia https://foreignpolicy.com/2021/12/17/ukraine-russia-corruption-putin-democracy-oligarchs/ Vladimir Putin: The rebuilding of ‘Soviet’ Russia Published 28 March 2014 In just four years, Putin had crushed Chechnya, reined in the free media and the oligarchs, gained a parliament that would do whatever he wanted, and shown that Russia had a strong voice in international affairs. "He says what he thinks and does what he says - at least much more than probably any other contemporary politician or statesman. Western analysts and politicians always try to uncover some sort of false bottom in his statements, when there often isn't one. That applies to many other Soviet leaders including Stalin - at least in the run-up to and during WW2," says Dmitry Linnik, London bureau chief of the Voice of Russia radio. "He is a nationalist - in the federal 'Russian', not ethnic 'Russian', sense of the word. That is his biggest driving force, I think - not hunger for power or personal ambition." But Freeland disagrees. "I think he has taken a series of decisions, quite rationally from his narrow personal point of view, that this kind of autocratic regime gives him the most personal power and personal wealth," she says. There was one thing missing to make the world of his childhood complete: an ideology. Putin restored some Soviet symbols. He brought back the Soviet national anthem and Soviet emblems, and praised the Soviet triumph in World War Two. But he embraced pre-Soviet themes too. He befriended the Russian Orthodox Church, and name-checked anti-Soviet philosophers like Ivan Ilyin, whose remains he had repatriated to Russia and buried with honour. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-26769481 UK exposes sick Russian troll factory plaguing social media with Kremlin propaganda https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-exposes-sick-russian-troll-factory-plaguing-social-media-with-kremlin-propaganda One Professional Russian Troll Tells All More and more, posts and commentaries on the Internet in Russia and even abroad are generated by professional trolls, many of whom receive a higher-than-average salary for perpetuating a pro-Kremlin dialogue online. https://informnapalm.org/en/one-professional-russian-troll-tells-all/ Russian cyber threat to Canada worse than previously reported: CSE Russia’s cyber operations following its invasion of Ukraine have “almost certainly” been more extensive than what has been publicly reported, and Canada is among the targets, the Communications Security Establishment said. Engagement Between Ukrainian And Russians Near Donbas Most likely what we're seeing is Russian forces advancing on the Ukrainian positions. The tactical withdrawal is not a retreat, however it's a decisive defensive maneuver to pull back to supplementary and alternate fighting positions. With this withdrawal, the Ukrainians are able to pull the Russians back further into their defense in depth, which will allow them to continue to engage with them from a superior position. In this way, even though it may not appear like it, the Ukrainians are maintaining the tactical advantage of being in the defense while the Russian troops are being forced to advance on hardened positions. With that in mind, it doesn't really matter what level the Russian troops are. They can be conscripts with little to no training, or they can Spetsnaz hard chargers with millions in training invested into them. Regardless, they're going to meet the same fate advancing on hardened positions from anyone with basic marksmanship experience and training. https://funker530.com/video/engagement-between-ukrainian-and-russians-near-donbas/ |
