I am about to purchase a 2001 1500 Silverado 2WD REG CAB SHORT BOX FLEETSIDE with

5.3L V8/3.73 RATIO
Cast Alloy Wheels
Locking Differential

I am wondering if any other AR15 Members have this truck or one like it and wouldnt mind talking about the deal they got on this truck?  I want to know that I am getting the best possible deal next to going to CANADA with my money and letting the exchange rate work for me!  But I dont want my hard earned American Dollars going into that canadian economy.

unless you are set on an auto trans, the standard is $1500 less.
surf a few dealers off the web then go and haggle.
