Anyone employeed by UPS?  I work in Utah.  I was just wondering if there were others in the company who love the evil black rifles.

Okay, Capitain Facecious, I get it.

A "12 year employee" is not a kid in a P-500 who has not yet hit adolescence.

I'm not sure about the States, but it's policy here NOT to accept firearms and ammunition, among other "evil" package contents.
That, however hasn't stopped me from seeing all sorts of supposedly "banned" contents. Depends on whether or not your specific package runs into a zealot during the course of it's journey.

I am proud to see that I'm not the only lover of the evil black rifle.  I have been a driver for 9 years now.  Luckly, my route has a couple of shooting ranges on it.  One indoor and an outdoor.  I spend most of my lunches there.  I know a tough route...

I think I have most of the managers scared.  They have found out about my love affair.  Only the other drivers ask for advanced notice and if they are on the list?  Whatever they mean, I don't know...

Any one in Utah?--employees or not--could be fun for a shoot...

I have a package coming from Tulsa, Ok and has arrived in Denver. It was shipped on the 21 of May, the Track Trace says it was "Unload" in Denver on the 23 May and has'nt moved since. Is this unusual or do ground packages sometimes move by Air,instead of being trucked all the way. I see things on Track Trace like, "Arrival and Departure", but never have seen, "Unloaded". Whats up??

Open fire,

Packages are unloaded at large hubs and routed to the specific destination.  This is very common.  Not to worry, I'm sure your package will be there as scheduled.

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it! Kind of concerned about my Pre Ban lower making it to me.[beer]

I can understand.  I'm the same way.  I track packages coming to me the entire way.  My wife thinks I am a little bit overboard, fanatical, obsessed, compulsive, anal...  I think you get the idea.  I guess she doesn't fully appreciate the gravity of the situation.

Enjoy,

What I want to know is who's stealing all of those GUNS? The company president?

UPS was the largest corporate sponsor for the Republican Party in 2000- I'm on board with them, despite their stupid gun policy.  Hopefully we can persuade them to change this, and all will be well.

fuatos,

Utah checking in here also.  Not a UPS employee but I sure enjoy seeing the BBT coming down my street!  A couple friends and I are doing an informal shoot out in the desert south of Tooele tomorrow.  Might be a bit late to join in on tomorrows desert wanderings but if you are interested in future ones let me know.
