Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show
Apr 2 & 3, 2022 Saturday: 8am-6pm Sunday: 8am-4pm Host: ContraHQ at island 7C, upper level. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THREAD UPDATES Note new Friday Dinner Time and Other Meals Time/locations Posted (Mondos had no reservations slots left and Blue Coast does not accept reservations) Saturday Breakfast is at Talleys (11th and Yale) at 6:15 AM Saturday Dinner is at Bluestone Steakhouse & Seafood at 7:00 PM Sunday Breakfast is at the Black Bear Diner at 6:45 AM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the official Role Call for the Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show (backbencher has prior engagements, and asked me to post the official thread). If you need to contact the OP, please use ARFCOM IM. Wanenmacher Pro Tips Wear comfortable footwear, there is almost 6 miles of tables. Purchase advance tickets to avoid lines and delays. Plan on being at the show as long as possible (example 8AM to 5PM on Saturday, and 8AM to 3 PM on Sunday if you want to cover it all. That will average just under 14 seconds per table. There will be some excellent "state fair" type of food booths to be able to buy a decent lunch, but they are not cheap. Book your hotel early for best rates, IM the OP if you are unsure what part of town. Bring a backpack if you plan on purchasing much. (Also, OP will offer under table stash space at my vendor location [7C] for ARFCOM members). If you purchase bulk ammo, OP has a loaner cart. Bring lots of cash. Most of the great deals will be small vendors that only deal in cash and the ATM lines can get long. OP will have free chilled bottled water and cooler space if you bring your own drinks/snacks. |

I'll be there as soon as I get the flux capacitor in my DeLorean fixed.

Thanks for the tips, OP! I’m finally going after putting this off for years.

We will have a Friday night dinner poll up soon. There will be a few new options this year!

My Dad and I are going. Been wanting to do this for a long time and the stars aligned.
Very excited. |

Went last fall. Very dissappointing. The vendors trade amongst themselves the day before. Lots of overpriced crap. If you're collecting anything of quality or rarity, look elsewhere. Numerous empty tables. Won't be returning.

Went in the fall so not going to this one. Ya'll have fun and wear comfy shoes.

There were several arfcom members last show that made some awesome purchases. That being said, the Spring show is always busier than the Fall show. |

Going with my pops! First spring show. Was at the fall show in 19

Collectibles availability diminish as time goes but that’s normal. I did see things at the show I attended that I knew I would never see at a show again. Many times, they were priced accordingly. Bring lots of cash and brush up on your negotiating skills.. |

Is dinner at Smoke on Cherry St? Or some other Smoke?
Edited to add: ok I see now. Smoke Woodfire Grill is the actual name. I’ve always heard it referred to as Smoke on Cherry. Cool story bro, but I did the finish plumbing on that place a few years ago when the other company no showed and they hired me on Friday night and told me I had to be done by Monday morning……. That bill was expensive. |

I am looking for a new poncho liner, a backpack, and maybe one of the large practice drop bombs. Is there a large amount of military gear like that at this show or is it actually all firearms?
