In today's technology and communications era WHY do I have to post a picture into a domain, type a crap ass HTML command to another location and hope that it will work. Why cant be just easy to paste a pic right here or do a search into your folders and load the pic here from this forum. KISS. Cause loading all those pictures on the server here would crash it in about 3 days. Thats alot of bandwidth. |

I cant seem to post a pic either. If you really want to get pissed about it being a pain, go to Ebay and post a pic on an ad. It is incredibly simple. Ebays site downloads the pics you want right off of your computer for you, you dont have to post the pic to anything. No ftp, no html.

WRONG !!!
Limit the pictures to 2 per log in. Limit 2 log ins within 24 hrs. Hold on server only 15 days of data. The will be enough bandwith. I know. This is my job in communications. |

Perhaps some people will want to log in more than twice per 24 hours and post more than 2 pics per login? And why get rid of the archives just to make image posting a little easier? In a month I could care less about the pic du jour, but there will most likely be some data of use to me. I'd hate to lose that data just so it's easier to post pics that nobody will care about once the topic dies. |

If anybody wants to post a pic, but doesn't have a hosting service, I can put it on my website if you want.
To get a good link, don't copy from the location at the top of the browser, use this method instead: depending on your browser and machine, either click and hold, or control click directly over top of picture, and a little menu should come up. Move down to a menu that says something to the effect of copy image address(it depends again on the browser and machine). now, goto the reply or post at ar15.com, and enter "[", then "img", then "]", go to the edit menu, select paste. Now if everything went okay, the link to the picture should come up with http:// and then the address. now enter "[/img]" See if that works |
