I just read the part in "Freedom in Chains" by James Bovard, how many of our Congresscritters and state officials don't even read the bills that they are voting on.
I bet the majority didn't even know it was in the bill. This is why I like Ron Paul. If he can't read it or understand it, he just votes NO! |

For those of us that are thousands of miles away, it is tough to go personally, but give us some E-Mail addresses of key individuals and perhaps we can provide an economic reason why it would not be good for them to vote for the damn bill. Best of luck, but remember that it only a small percentage of men who would stand against the brits, its getting to be that time again. Perhaps it is time to use the tactics of the enemy, and attack each one of them personally with lies and distortions if they even think about voting for the ban.

Most people are far more concerned with how many blocks they'll have to drive in order to get a friggin' Big Mac.
As far as devoting one second to important causes, well, "Duh, aint that what da NRA suppose to do?" Apathy is why we lose our rights. Anyone who lives in a state where their support is needed, and they don't bother showin' up deserves to have their guns taken and replaced with a broken jaw. |

You just reminded of the time I had a penthouse at the Kona Kai on Virginia Beach for a long weekend. Myself and a couple of friends were driving all night, partying up a storm, and checked in at about 5 in the morning, trashed.
I wake up at maybe 11, and I am looking and feeling like shit, big time. I put on a pair of shorts, and decide that I'm going to the juice machine down the hall to wash away the cotton mouth. I hadn't shaved in a couple of days, hadn't combed my hair, and was hung over like a mo fo. So I open the door to my room, and step out in a fog, and what do I find? A line of beautiful teenage godesses, stretching the entire length of the hall. I thought I had died and gone to heaven! LOL! They were looking at me like "What the fu.. is that?" I was looking at them like "Thank you God! Yes! There trully IS a God!" [:)] It seems that the Miss Virginia Beach pagent was being held there that weekend, and the pagent had taken the penthouse next door to conduct their interviews. After recovering from the shock, I went back to the room, performed the three "S"s, and fashioned a quick sign which I hung on the outside of the door, inviting all of the pagent contestants to a reception in our room begining at 9:00PM that evening. Believe it or not, we had a few actually show up! What a weekend! I love Virginian women! |
