A 617 4” or even a sp101 .22 with a green FO front sight would be a nice find

Expanded my collection from these:

I’m not a revolver guy and had only shot one once. But for some reason decided I needed one so I snagged a Taurus 66 on GunAuction for like $400. Seemed dirt cheap for revolvers these days to see if I liked them. Holy shit this thing is a blast to shoot. Smooth as silk with .38 and a lot of fun with .357. Next will be an S&W 44 of some flavor I think

I don’t think it’s bad at all, but it is more entertaining than the others when it come to muzzle flash and recoil.

I agree. There is negligible difference between my Alaskan and 5" 629 recoil-wise.

All three are P&R's one of the 19's is on permanent loan to my parents, and the Dirty Harry Special was an early 44th Bday present to myself.

My latest pickup, paid a pretty penny for it too!

Ruger SP101 .357 Mag
Ruger LCR .327 Fed Mag
S&W 642 Airweight .38 Spl (beautifully crafted, wonderful to concealed carry)

Want to add a Chiappa Rhino of an as of yet unchosen caliber,

and (Pietta or Uberti) Colt replicas of '51 Navy and '60 Army.

My only revolver:

My awesome girlfriend gave me a 6" 686 (no dash, no M) awhile ago.  I hated the long barrel, so I bought a 4" off Ebay for something like $50 and did a barrel swap.  Works great, accurate, and it's become one of my favorites.

Looking for a Airweight to keep in a pack while hiking, but a coworker mentioned he has a Charter Arms he’ll sell for cheap.   Like $100 or so.  I know it’s a budget gun compared to a 686 or GP100, but would it be worth it?   Couple boxes of ammo included too.  No details other than it’s a 5 shot snubbie with wood grips.  Early 1990’s production

There's a cute little 5-shooter in this picture, too. But it's not the .45-70...

Was already planning on posting the two extremes and couldn't resist the temptation to kid around a little. No disrespect intended.
