I trust Feinstine, Boxer, Shumer, Clinton ... will all fail to support or defend the Constitution as it was written and will seek at every opportunity to expand government into our freedoms.

Ron Paul- Texas.

I understand that he would have run as a Libertarian, but he wanted Republican money to get elected :)

Other than that, we can trust all the antis to stab us in the back

Ron Paul of Texas is the only one I can think of that has not betrayed the Constitution, yet. While not a Congressman or Senator, I believe I would stand with L. Neil Smith as well.

Definitely Ron Paul (Texas 14th District). He is an honorable man and a patriot.

From what I know of Steve Largent (Oklahoma, 1st District), he is a pretty quality individual who stands up to the Republican leadership when they want to sell out. But I haven't followed him as closely since I left OK a few years back, so someone else might know him better. We used to have Tom Coburn from Oklahoma, too, but he followed his self-imposed three-term limit.

For all issues, Congressman Ron Paul of Texas, often called "Dr. No" by his colleagues because that's how he usually votes -- he also ran for President as the Libertarian candidate a few years ago.

For firearms issues, Congressman Roscoe Bartlett of Maryland -- the NRA nearly torpedoed his election in 1992 because the NRA was trying to curry political favor with the incumbent Democrat (note that this Demo incumbent had spoken out in favor of the Brady Bill and banning "assault weapons" for quite some time).

Who can't you trust -- the NRA.

RON PAUL- the only RINO (republican in name only) that can be trusted. He has many times stood alone with the Constitution and Bill of Rights while the rest of the gop and democrats were compromising your rights away.

Senator Don Nickles R(OK)

I actually received help from Senator Don Nickles and his staff in resolving an issue with the IRS. Of all of the members of Congress from Oklahoma, only his office even responded.

Being trustworthy and honest don't necessarily mean that he supports every cause I do, though.

You can trust 99.9% of them to:

1. Do everything they can to remain in power.
2. Suck up to anyone and everyone who can help with #1.
3. Lie (the media calls it "spin" to pretty it up) to their constituents to continue to do #1.

Senators Stevens and Murkowski usually vote the way I would on things that matter to me (defense, guns, trade & taxes). They're basically lobbyists for the state of Alaska. This loss of the Senate really hurts we Alaskans, because Stevens wielded so much power with his seniority and chairmanship of the Senate Appropriations Committee. Now THAT is power! Senator Murkowski was chairman of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

When Senator Phil Gramm of Texas was a young democrat house member, he resigned his seat in the house and went back to Texas to announce he wanted to become Republican. He then ran for his old seat as a Republican and won. That is how it should be done. Now he is my senator and I trust him. And for now, Kay Bailey Hutchenson, R-Tx.

Rep. Joe Pitts(PA-16), my rep. He is a pretty good guy, votes close to Paul. I'd prefer Paul , but Pitts is good as well.

Rep. Ric Keller- FL (Rep.)
NRA helped elect him here, just barely over anti-gunner Linda Chapin, who ran attack ads over Keller as being "Pro-Gun." After that, I knew Keller was a good guy. After meeting him at a local shooting range, the guy is stand-up for the 2nd Amendment.
