Damn. That qualifies as a SHTF situation in my book. Big-time. There was another wedding collapse in Oregon in 1999 on a big deck. Same thing: wedding reception, a lot of people on a supported structure. The deck's supports gave way and the whole deck folded like a door hinge, dumping everyone straight down.

I was watching the footage on fox news today. That is some f'ed up stuff. All just dancing and the floor sunk about a foot then just dropped. I believe it is 23 people dead and counting. That sucks.

Check out the 2nd camera in the crowd with a light on, you can clearly see it fall into the hole. What a video that will be :(
