Official Ukraine hates Russia. Some amount of people hate Russia. No russian language, no russian symbols, no russian art - all that is prohibited sometimes by criminal law. So why is Ukraine still wants russian pipeline? When is your national pride goes to the point where you say fuck your pipeline. In their clown world, Ukraine is refusing to buy directly from russia but buying gas from european countries perfectly realising that they simple reselling them same russian gas. Is promised coup already underway? |

I'm late getting here. Why was the previous thread moved? Did a mod say why. Why is someone who was updating not aloud to post updates here. I'm not giving out my dd214 after buying a gold membership just to read a thread. That forum is not secure so what's up with putting a current event thread there.

Buildup in Yelnya, roughly 160-170 miles north of the Ukrainian border. I can't find any recent images to see if these vehicles are on the move closer to the border.

This guys tweeter feed is full of videos showing equipment movements but there is little context of where and when.
Apparently a Ukrainian military transport flew from Turkey, again no context but just a guess Ukraine bought some Turkish drones and took delivery. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-12-03/ukraine-buys-more-armed-drones-from-turkey-than-disclosed-and-angers-russia

Usually they'll fire 1-3 rounds out of a single gun and then beat feet. The rebel side will deny it ever happened and the Ukrainian side will claim it was a devastating bombardment. The video proof of continuous shelling is something we haven't seen in awhile. Also been a long time since a BMP or BTR has pulled up to the contact line and opened fire. |

Russia will react to any development, but they have said that NATO deploying missile systems in Ukraine is a red line just like it was to the US for Soviet missiles in Cuba. Putin means what he says about red lines unlike Obama. |

Exercise again or a northern front? I have no basis for that theory outside of geography. This thread is good - also highlights the inability for OPSEC with a phone on everyone. How / can the Russians shut that down? Lots to learn here. |

Why send troops to Ukraine? Would be wasting US lives just to get a reason to get more involved once it pops off.
Otoh Poland or other states nearby would be the perfect place to station a defensive force in response. Rebuild what remains of NATO’s paper tiger. Ukraine never should’ve given up it’s nukes. |
