Okay serious answer-
1. Yes, NAFO are trolls. They troll so hard, Russian's literally cannot further their IO nonsense on Twitter without a literal wave of brain dead cartoon dogs.
1.a. The result of this is Russia no longer owns the information space like they once did. Even RT is writing articles about NAFO, and serious military pubs have started recognizing how it came to be that a nation's IO game is getting pissed on by weirdos using cartoon dog avatars.
2. NAFO doesn't have any "leaders" per se. Kama posted something dumb on Twitter years ago. I see worse in GD on a regular basis. I thought we weren't about cancelling people?

Here's the horrifying post for reference:

If they were idiots they wouldn't be talked about constantly, and wouldn't be causing issues for Russian IO.
They come of as idiots because you don't get it. You engage a Russian diplomat and if they engage back they lose for engaging a troll. If they don't engage, they get drowned out by shit posting. Call them idiots, but it's working.

My point is that GD is (rightly) against it whenever years old tweets are used against someone. So the guy posted stupid anti-Semitic jokes. Again, I've seen worse in GD....and again, he may be the founder but he's not any sort of leader.

Don't you find it interesting that RT is running stories on Kama the "nazi" and NAFO?

Oddly enough here's what I've heard so far from Russian accounts:

NAFO is:
boomers that don't know how to use computers
teenagers
CIA operatives
NATO operatives
Ukrainian operatives
Nazis

They have also made scripts that will block anyone that follows some of the early NAFO guys like Kama and iamthewarax.

An irrelevant group of idiots doesn't get so much attention...

Well I guess we don't have to completely agree . It's just not my thing, I generally find trolling and memes funny but for some reason most of the NAFO stuff grates on me. In the same vein I hate when I see the Ukrainian tanks with German cross symbols. I realize that's not Nazi and just trolling it just seems counter productive to me.

https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/highly-unusual-disclosure-made-of-u-s-ballistic-missile-submarines-presence-in-arabian-sea

U.S. Central Command has taken the extremely unusual step of disclosing the presence of a U.S. Navy Ohio class nuclear ballistic missile submarine in the Arabian Sea. The announcement was framed as a visit by the command's top officer, U.S. Army Gen. Michael Kurilla, to get a first-hand look at one of America's key capabilities operating in the region. However, it's hard not to see it as being a message intended for potential adversaries, such as Iran or Russia, as well as American allies and partners.
View Quote

The U.S. Navy currently has 14 Ohio class ballistic missile submarines, or SSBNs, in service. The Ohio SSBNs were originally designed to carry up to 24 Trident nuclear-armed submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM), but this maximum loadout has since been reduced to 20 as part of arms control agreements with Russia. The current Trident D5 missile is a multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle, or MIRV, design and each one can be loaded with up to 14 nuclear warheads.

There are four more Ohio class boats in Navy service that had been converted into guided missile submarines, or SSGNs. Though best known for their ability to carry a maximum load of 154 Tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles, the Ohio SSGNs are actually multi-purpose vessels that can deploy various uncrewed systems, serve as motherships for special operations forces, and act as underwater intelligence fusion centers and command posts, as you can read more about in this past War Zone feature.

CENTCOM's official disclosure on any level of the location of an Ohio SSBN is extremely unusual by itself. The Navy is generally tight-lipped about submarine activities, in general, and particularly so when it comes to the locations of ballistic missile submarines, which form the most survivable component of America's nuclear deterrent triad.

Kovsharovka. That’s how you would spell/pronounce it in English. However, that’s the old Russian/Soviet pronunciation. It’s now called Kivsharivka. Basically any city that had an “O” during the Soviet times was the Russian name for it. Ukraine started returning all those cities back to their original Ukrainian names about 15 years ago. “O” gets replaced with “I”.

It may also  surprise you but some of us have access to more information on the conflict than many of those claiming everything is Russian propaganda.

Nobody is claiming everything is Russian propaganda, but it's well established that Russia has been targeting both the right and the left for years.
I posted a good study on it a while back.

Whenever I see someone say "Russia Russia Russia" now it just tells me they really haven't looked into the issue at hand all that much.

2) what, our government is lying to us, and people who know better can’t say?  situation normal…

If you replace the O's with I's then it would be Kivsharivka, which is Kharkiv oblast just East of the Oskil River.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kivsharivka
"Kivsharivka (Ukrainian:           , Russian:           ) is an urban-type settlement in Kupiansk Raion of Kharkiv Oblast in Ukraine."

Edit: FFS why can't I type in any Cyrillic alphabet on this site?!

Всё нормально. Спокойной ночи мой други

My brain was hurting the first month of language classes. It takes time to relearn what a letter sounds like, and the new characters. That was probably the hardest part.

It is handy when you have the keyboard on your phone. Autocorrect helps me text in the languages too.

The drawn down of significant portions of systems that are planned to be in service for decade, when the on hand numbers prior to the drawdown were considered inadequate but what we could afford. The reduction and repurposing of current year dollars and ammunition from US forces for both training, readiness and capability development  to facilitate UKR efforts to name a few.

Feel free to elaborate/talk around/explain in broad strokes the better courses of action in lieu of the current path. Interested to hear what you have to say.
