In case anyone else was wondering - the photo is real, from 2014. It was a gift from a Russian official.

This government can't afford to make any more enemies. Let them bury themselves.

In other words; those at the top will be able to extract more wealth out of the middle class.

Examples of Command Economies
Consider these examples of command economies: Belarus: This former Soviet satellite is still a command economy. The government owns 80% of the country's businesses and 75% of its banks.2 China: After World War II, Mao Tse Tung created a society ruled by Communism. He enforced a strictly planned economy. The current leaders are moving toward a market-based system. They continue to create five-year plans to outline economic goals and objectives. Cuba: Fidel Castro's 1959 revolution installed Communism and a planned economy. The Soviet Union subsidized Cuba’s economy until 1990. The government is slowly incorporating market reforms to spur growth.3 Iran: The government controls wide swathes of the economy through a mix of direct and indirect state control. This control has created inefficiencies and recessions, and sanctions from the international community worsened these hardships. These sanctions ended in 2015 under a nuclear trade deal, before being reimposed by the U.S. in 2018 after President Trump pulled out of the deal.4 Libya: The Libyan economy is almost entirely dependent upon the oil and gas sector, and most Libyans work for the government.5 North Korea: For decades, North Korea has had one of the world's most centrally-planned economies. The U.S. government considers North Korea's industrial capital stock to be nearly beyond repair due to mismanagement, underinvestment, and material shortages. Citizens of North Korea face ongoing famine and starvation issues.6 Russia: In 1917, Vladimir Lenin and the Russian Revolution created the first Communist command economy. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) was also the longest-running command economy, lasting from the 1930s until the late 1980s. Since the fall of the USSR, the Russian state has transferred ownership of the largest companies to oligarchs. I liked the part about if they don't do it now they wont be able to for a long time. I pray this shit doesn't pass. But history says it will at the last hour because of some limp wristed Rs, or whatever. |

Evil people and they wonder why there is a unhealable divide in this country. Slavery was a piker issue when compared to what is transpiring to divide the country now.

I wonder which lines will be longer, the lines for toilet paper or the lines for canned food?

Mandate everyone get the vax to crush what is left of privately owned businesses/corporations?
Mandate vax throughout government to identify and push out those that do not get with the program or refuse to be conscripted to the new normal? All of this will help in freeing up room for that entire new demographic that the party has been trying to import in record numbers? The new Winston Smiths are the 1/6 and CRT insurrectionists. Love your lives while you still can. Better days are behind us not ahead of us. |

This why private property rights are so important- whether they be owned by corporations or actual people.

This is why you pay attention to economic stuff.
You can't control the economy, because the economy is just everyone's choices about what to do with the resources they have in life. In order to control that, you have to control people. Economic reset = we will control you so much that we will control a huge number of your choices because we think you have to live the way we want you to. We are better than you, and if we have to force you to comply with our dictates, we will do so. Gleefully. |

The Left didn't grab power with the intention of giving it back. This is their end game and they're going to go all in before any chance of losing power can come around again.
|
|
Here's my honest prediction: It's going to come down to a race as to what destroys the economy first--the vaccine mandate causing millions of people to walk off the job, or the administration's ill-conceived and executed attempts at central planning.
And...they're OFF......! |

Am getting a really bad vibe about WTF is going on , lots of shortages that can have far reaching effects. Convince me this isn't all on purpose or at least exacerbated by ,gov. Things are fairly fragile right now, something major would totally jack things up. I say this as a small businessman.
