Exactly what I would be doing if I was close to a retirement there, they'd have to push me out the door of the station and then I'd have me a spot somewhere to hole up and watch TikTok on my phone in between slow rolling to calls and not being able to find anything. If I was younger in my career there I'd be ejecting the field entirely or looking for a better, quieter gig in a white suburb or something.

I don't feel bad for the blacks who are crying in those areas saying the police don't care, because they were silent last year about the BLM smears / defund the police BS and that makes them complicit. Now that the crime spike is effecting them they want the popo to come back and risk their life trying to arrest criminals and if a criminal is hurt, they will join in demonizing the officer.

Even when a city turns to shit, the ignorant residents still continue to elect those who want to destroy it further.
